About Pierre Gobillard champagne

Not to be confused with mass-produced champagne that you might buy in the supermarket, Pierre Gobillard champagne comes from the family run vineyards of Hautvillers which are classed as Premier Cru. These vineyards are where Friar Dom Perignon discovered the process of fermentation in the bottle which gave birth to champagne.

Three generations of the Gobillard family have now produced champagne from these vineyards. The current

proprietors Herve and Florence Gobillard continue the family business started by Herve’s grandfather Gervais and nurtured by his father Pierre. Since 1947 their love of the vine and passion for champagne together with the quality of the soil and the care taken in the blending and aging of the champagne have all combined in the creation of the unique Champagnes Pierre Gobillard.
